HABITAT TALES - Large Animals in Short Stories (Hard Cover)
Welcome to a very special storybook. Russian Hill School students (the summer before their graduation in 2011) researched the comings, goings, & habitats of large animals.
Each student created a line drawing and sculptural representation of their selected animal - pictures of which you will see in the pages ahead. In individual sessions the children orated stories about their animal to Teacher Bonnie. From audio recordings the children’s stories were transcribed and lastly the children practiced their writing by carefully re-writing their stories in hand made books.
