Here Comes the Moon
Blending the magic of nocturnal wildlife with the mission of forest conservation, each child proudly selected and hand-painted a North American woodland species to bring their unique vision to life—ultimately transforming their dual-process “Here Comes the Moon” mural into a luminous tribute to nature and imagination led by RHS Founder Bonnie McFadden and Head of School Teacher Alex.

Universally Tie-Dyed
Each student took a truly hands-on approach—pinching, scrunching, and folding their own fabric to create a one-of-a-kind tie-dye masterpiece with Teacher Vanessa. Inspired by celestial themes like planets, galaxies, and the aurora borealis, students explored both art and science through color, pattern, and a little cosmic curiosity.
The result? A vibrant, space-inspired collection as unique as each young artist who made it.

THE OZ PLAYSET: For Friends, Fantasy and Fine Motor Skills!
Step into a world of wonder with this one-of-a-kind, handmade Wizard of Oz playset, designed by Teacher Matt and RHS students. From hand-painted backdrops on fine watercolor paper to custom-crafted characters and whimsical props like LED lights and sparkling gems, every detail is lovingly made and laminated for durability.
Scenes from Kansas to the Emerald City are tucked neatly into a portable storage cabinet—ready for display or imaginative play. Along the way, children learned real-world skills: color mixing, scissor work, gluing, storytelling, and emotional expression.
Part art project, part educational tool, and part family heirloom, this playset is a keepsake of learning, creativity, and the joy of making something together.
