As a long-standing tradition at RHS, our children’s art is celebrated through the annual RHS Cards, Calendars, & Puzzles Fundraising Drive. This year, our amazing RHS teachers have come up with multiple offerings to showcase your child's work.
Our Director of Art Teacher Lyvette designed a stunning Self Portrait Project this fall. These portraits are becoming one side of your child’s school placemats, along with the wonderful pictures you sent from home of your family on the alternate side. Before they were sent to the laminators, photos were taken of the portraits. While developing their portrait, your children spent time noticing their own gorgeous faces, developing their fine motor control, and building the skills of representational drawing.
Teacher Stephanie led this special multi process project during fall 2018 inspired by the famous children’s book of the same name. For those parents that have their Wild Things at home, individual cards of your child’s work is available. These Wild Things also make a really fun variety pack of notecards to have on hand for all.
Boxes of 10 beautiful, one-of-a-kind cards with student hand-made art can be ordered today! These are perfect for holiday gifts, Christmas cards, and personalized thank you cards. $22 (Please note that these may be purchased as a variety pack or simply as a set with your child’s individual card).
